Named after Col Raiser, one of the most beautiful alpine pastures of the Gardena valley in the Dolomites, this down jacket is designed to provide lightweight, water-repellent and highly efficient, packable natural insulation with the versatility for multiple activities.
Warm and cosy down insulation
This is a medium-weight insulated jacket with an exceptionally cosy, lofty 750 cubic inch 90/10 down fill in a box chamber construction with baffles that allow the down to loft more efficiently and eliminate cold spots. It has a warm down-filled hood. All our down is approved by the Responsible Down Standard to ensure animal welfare and gives incredible warmth for little weight. Maybe what really sets it apart though, is the distinctive subtly textured outer fabric with additional wool content. It has a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) fabric finish and double ripstop nylon inserts to add further protection where it’s needed. Inside, the soft, silky downproof lining moves easily over your inner layers.
Winter protection
The Raiser has a high, insulated collar and a tailored, adjustable hood for maximum winter protection. The front zip has a full-length windproof flap. There’s an extra layer of insulation behind the pocket zips for maximum thermal protection. And the stretch bindings on the cuffs, hem and hood help keep the cold out and the warmth in. It comes with two zipped hand-warmer pockets to keep essential items safe, such as gloves, and a zip-secure outer chest pocket.
