The Deuter Trans Alpine Pro 28 in graphite-shale is a technical bike backpack designed for ambitious MTB rides, multi-day tours, and alpine crossings. Its streamlined, athletic shape and refined carry system help the pack sit close to the back and reduce load wobble, even on rough terrain. The graphite and shale color combination gives it a modern, versatile look that works well with both cycling and outdoor gear. This model offers a 28-liter volume, weighs 1350 g, and measures 55 x 29 x 21 cm. The recommended load is 4–8 kg. Riding comfort comes from the deuter Airstripes back system, which uses a reduced contact area and ventilation channels to promote airflow and help keep the back drier on climbs and demanding rides. Stability is further enhanced by ergonomic padded shoulder straps, padded hip fins, a 2-way adjustable sternum strap, and stabilizer straps. This cycling backpack stands out for its highly effective organization. It features multiple pockets and compartments, including a large tool organizer section, a separate bottom compartment, an internal wet compartment, a dedicated hydration bladder compartment, roomy hip fin pockets, and side pockets for quick access to essentials. The zip-around opening also makes packing and gear access easier. Practical details include a front zip pocket, a mesh front pocket with hook closure, a cell phone pocket, a glasses stow system, bicycle pump attachment, key clip, SOS label, safety whistle, reflective details, and an included rain cover. It is hydration compatible up to 3 liters, making it a strong choice for long bike tours, MTB adventures, and demanding cycling trips. The Deuter Trans Alpine Pro 28 is made from 120D PA HT REC R/S material. It is a bluesign® product, Green Button certified, and made without PFAS; deuter uses a more environmentally friendly DWR finish instead.
