Deuter uses the Airstripes back system with reduced contact surface, combined with perforated, ergonomically shaped and padded shoulder straps plus a removable waist belt to improve airflow and help keep your back drier throughout a busy day. The 2-way adjustable sternum strap adds stability on the move. The Deuter StepOut 22 is built for practical organization. Inside, it features a laptop compartment for devices up to 15 inches, a document compartment, an internal water bottle holder and multi-purpose organizer pockets for school documents and a tablet. The main compartment is folder-sized, helping keep the load close to the body’s center of gravity. Fast access to essentials comes from the stretch side pockets and the side cell phone pocket positioned against the back. A grab handle, key clip and internal valuables compartment complete the functional layout. The materials and sustainability credentials are also worth noting. The fabric is made without PFAS and uses 100% recycled PET-based materials produced to the bluesign® standard. The product is also Green Button certified.
