The Deuter AC Lite 16 in atlantic-ink is a lightweight hiking backpack designed for day hikes and fast outdoor adventures. Its slim, modern shape, refined detailing and understated blue-navy colorway give it a clean trail-ready look that also works well for travel and everyday active use. With a 16-liter volume, dimensions of 56 x 28 x 19 cm and a recommended load of 2–5 kg, it is well suited to carrying light essentials in comfort. Its key technology is the ultra-light deuter Aircomfort back system, which creates a ventilation space between the mesh back panel and the wearer’s back. This provides maximum airflow, while the round-profile frame made from permanently elastic spring steel helps distribute the load evenly and relieves strain on longer routes. Carrying comfort is further enhanced by the 2-way adjustable sternum strap and breathable hip fins. The backpack features a spacious main compartment with drawcord and lid closure, an external lid pocket, an internal lid compartment, stretch mesh side pockets, a side smartphone pocket, a glasses stow system on the shoulder strap, a key clip, pole attachment points and extra attachment loops for gear. It is also prepared for a hydration system up to 2 liters and compatible with a mesh helmet holder sold separately. A detachable rain cover is included for added protection in changing weather conditions. The Deuter AC Lite 16 uses 600D PES REC BS and 210D PA RECYCLED fabrics. According to the manufacturer, the model incorporates recycled materials, is made without PFAS and uses an environmentally friendlier DWR finish without per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. It is also a bluesign® product and Green Button certified. This makes it a versatile outdoor daypack for anyone looking for a lightweight, highly ventilated backpack for hiking, walking tours and day trips.
